Split Screen Gmail?

Is anybody else seeing this extremely annoying gmail split screen? It only affects my Google Apps version of gmail, not my personal gmail account. I’ve tried everything: rebooting, clearing the cache and cookies, restarting Firefox. Nothing works, and it hasn’t gone away in 3 days.

Suggestions welcome.

Yes. We had the same issue for days. However, it went away yesterday after forcing offline to sync. Not a 100% sure this was the fix since on another computer also turned off the multiple inbox lab feature.

Thanks for the tip. Based on that, I disabled offline access and that solved the display glitch. I’ll try re-syncing again later.

Hi,

You can solve the problem, there is an option above the mails at the right hand side corner. it says split horizonal, vertical or no split. This should help.

I have a problem… i hv no split bt i see the scroll not on the window, bt within mails etc.

neone knows how to rectify it.

Yes, this is different than the newly released Gmail preview pane feature in Google Labs.

The preview pane is actually useful, this post was written in response to a bug a while back.
